L E T T E R B O X I N G O N L I N E . . . . not only can you hike out into the woods, but now you have the option of not even leaving your chair! As with most things, a version of letterboxing has recently moved online. After a few girls on an art list I'm on had mentioned wanting to know more about it (and had no boxes in their immediate area), I whipped up what I believe to be the first Virtual Letterbox, and posted it. Within minutes, there were more than a thousand hits, and as the link spread, well...let's just say that my servers were pretty busy for awhile. Luckily, no good thing has to be a one-time event online, and others have begun making some virtual boxes, as well!
