Almost all of this book is unfinished. They've been basecoated with Lumiere paints by Jacquard -- a set of fabulous metallic paints that thicken the pages and make them feel leathery and smooth.
On this page, they were drybrushed and then blended, to give it a mottled look. The title remains unmodified, as I'm trying to retain and enhance content with this book rather than interpret it.
