The words are collage from some wrapping paper that my friend Laura in TX sent me as part of an art care package when I first moved here. I'd been saving it for something special, and since this counted as "special" to be sure...
I love this picture of Janis Joplin, too. I need to go back and matte medium it to protect it when I get a chance.
