BEGINNING FEBRUARY 23rd, 2004:

OBSERVATION JOURNALING
class size: 25 total explorers
investment: $20 USD

class description:
Many of us keep journals, art or personal.  In this class, we are out for an adventurous exploration of this medium in the most uncharted of territories -- the depths of your own soul.  We'll explore the world around you through words and art, and take your journaling further, to a deeper connection, using the journal and the art process as a tool to both enlighten your path and record your journey.  Transform your art -- and truly, your observation of Life -- with this six-week course.

schedule:
Every Monday the new  lesson is posted in both PDF (with pictures) and text (with links) formats for you to download whichever way is easiest for you.  Two days will be yours to explore the ideas and information presented.  On Wednesdays, there will be an optional chat at 8:00 p.m. CST (9 p.m. Eastern, 6 p.m. Pacific) in which we'll share our reactions to the exercises, some of our work and insights, and expand on what we've just learned with guided meditations and other tools.  On Thursdays, a review of what we went over in chat will be posted for download in PDF and text format so you won't miss anything if you couldn't attend.  The rest of the week will be for discussion and further exploration.

The course lasts six weeks, from February 23, 2004 until March 31st, 2004.

Sign up today!  Spots are going fast, and this course WILL BE CAPPED at a maximum of 25 participants.  This is going to be a small, focused, participatory group so that YOU get the MOST out of the material presented.

When you are a paid participant, further information will be sent to you via email about getting set up in the class area.   If you are mailing a check for it, PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, otherwise I can't get ahold of you to tell you your schedule!

You'll be mailed the following in your Thank-You Kit:

  • A complete course syllabus

  • A recommended supplies list

  • An optional bibliography for further reading and study

  • Information on how to get into the classroom and how to get the most out of the class.

  • A private email address for the instructor for questions

Participants/students should have at least a basic knowledge of computers and the internet (how to use email, how to access messages and files on a basic Yahoogroup format), and either a working knowledge of the medium they've chosen to use or an ADVENTUROUS spirt to learn as they go.   You'll be on a Yahoo!group mailing list format, but yahoo membership is not required for this -- I can add you directly if you're nervous about doing it yourself.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me and I'll try to answer them as best I can.

 Can't wait to see you there!
